Outside Salesperson
Job Title: Outside Salesperson
Location: St. Louis, MO (Remote)
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 Base Salary Comm
Summary:
We're seeking a dynamic and driven Outside Salesperson to join our team. This role is responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, driving sales within an assigned territory, and identifying new opportunities for growth. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where relationship-building and customer satisfaction are key to success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet with prospective and existing customers.
- Conduct daily calls and face-to-face meetings to promote products and services.
- Build and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with new and repeat customers.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using CRM software.
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, and value propositions.
- Answer customer questions regarding pricing, product availability, and features.
- Recommend alternative parts or solutions when needed.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and new products.
- Demonstrate products and explain how they meet customer needs.
- Resolve customer issues and ensure satisfaction through ongoing communication.
- Collaborate with Inside Sales teams regarding product availability and order fulfilment.
- Consistently meet or exceed Gross Margin Profit goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the VP of Sales or upper management.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in parts sales or a similar field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Basic computer proficiency.
Physical Demands:
- May be exposed to loud environments and outdoor conditions.
- Regularly required to move about the sales area and lift items over 80 lbs.
- Frequently operates a computer and standard office equipment.
- May occasionally be exposed to airborne particles.
